Student Evangelistic Events Scheduled for March are Postponed
In response to recent school closures and the suggestion to limit large gatherings, LFC partner ministries have made the difficult decision to cancel an upcoming student evangelistic event in Upstate New York. We’ve been working on the coordination and programming for ReCharge, a student event that was set to bring around 50 youth groups together in five locations throughout Upstate NY this month. While we will no longer be gathering physically, all of our Reset Student Movement parters are meeting over the next few days to make digital discipleship available to every student that was planning on attending one of these events.
Free Digital Discipleship Resources are Made Available to All Youth Workers
In addition to equipping our network of more than 75 youth ministries involved in the Reset Student Movement, we are making a library of free digital discipleship resources available for all youth leaders to access. As more youth ministries are taking precautionary measures of canceling youth gatherings, we will be equipping and empowering youth leaders with digital discipleship resources.
As of Monday, March 16th, the CIRCLES curriculum library has been made open and free, giving all youth pastors access to Bible studies, devotionals, and social share graphics that will empower them to continue working through a curriculum with their students and discussing the content on social media and other online platforms. The CIRCLES library includes:
- 12 Bible Study Devotionals totaling more than 120 days worth of daily devotionals written just for teens.
- Over 70 topical small group devotionals and discussion guides.
- Supplemental social share graphics on the topics of each devotional.
As part of the LFC Network, we are asking you to help us empower youth leaders in your community by making them aware of this free resource. Our team is available to help youth leaders implement these resources and continue digital discipleship as long as it is unsafe to gather together in public.
